No key is required. Up to 60 requests per minute per IP; data refreshes every 30 seconds, so polling more often makes no sense.

Direct downloads

Good practice

  • Cache the response for at least 30 seconds — the data does not change more often.
  • Request only what you need with protocol, anonymity, country and limit.
  • Rotate through several proxies and retry on failure: public proxies can go offline at any moment.
  • Respect Retry-After if you receive HTTP 429.

Frequently asked questions

No. The API is public and free. The only limit is 60 requests per minute per IP address.

The API serves the same data as the website, refreshed every 30 seconds. Each proxy carries the time of its last successful check.
